Cotton cap light summer ticking striped 3 darted 59cm
We’ve been making our own caps for some years now after Olney hatters sadly folded. We’ve tried some in summer light fabrics - cottons and linens. Here’s a sample we made up from last year in a three dart and a 10” crown width. The cloth is a French vintage cotton with a thin white and blue stripe. Lined in navy quilted with a blue grosgrain sweatband.
to fit a size 59cm and one for a 57cm.
This is a sample piece so it’s not perfect in the finish as I’ve noticed the twin stitch along the bottom isn’t perfectly straight as it should be.
