1940s original 2 piece suit in thornproof tweed 36” chest 30” waist
This is a beautiful tailored small 1940s tweed suit by Glencarrick and woven in Ulster from guaranteed thorn proof tweed. The weave is of fawn, brown and green in a medium weight tweed.
Single-breasted, 3 button front closure, notch lapel, without vents at rear, fully lined in a gorgeous copper coloured twill with sleeve lining in ivory.
Trousers have a high rise with twin front British deep pleats, wide leg with turn up bottom cuffs, button side adjusters.
Condition is really excellent and steam pressed. The waist band has been slightly altered at back but done well with very little evidence apart from added lining in a very close match.
