1940s knitwear pattern fairisle jumper in light grey, navy blue and maroon
Our heritage knitwear range is exclusively made for us in the United Kingdom from pure British from Shepley Yarns in Saddleworth.
We have taken an original 1940s pattern with a shorter torso and used it to create a range of knitwear in an authentic period style, designed to compliment period tailoring.
This jumper is a thick medium weight 2 ply wool in fairisle pattern from an autumnal palette of mustard, cinnamon brown and burnt orange on a ground of flecked fawn. The torso is shorter than most modern lengths for period higher waisted trousers. It has a long waistband and a V neck opening.
SIZING - taken laid flat and remember there’s a lot of stretch in the wool.
